The Career Center at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” will host a joint Design Thinking workshop organized by the Education 5.0 Foundation on October 25, 2025. The workshop is part of the Solve for Tomorrow program by Samsung Electronics, which has been implemented in Bulgaria since 2022 in partnership with Education 5.0 Foundation and Infino AD. The program’s main focus is the namesake competition for innovative ideas, open to students of all ages.
The workshop is designed as a hands-on exercise, where teams of students from 8th to 12th grade work together with their teachers as team leaders. They go through the entire design thinking process and develop solutions to self-identified problems within the three competition categories: “Sustainability through Technology”, “Social Change through Technology” and “Digital Finance”. At the end, the teams present their solutions to a jury.
The training format is entirely based on the learning-by-doing approach. A key factor in the initiative’s success is the partnership with the university, whose faculty members participate as mentors for the teams and members of the jury.
The goal of the workshop is to help students acquire practical skills, confidence, and motivation to further develop and present their ideas in the Solve for Tomorrow competition.
