Chief Assist. Prof. Gloria Hristova, PhD, was awarded the prize for the best presentation at the international conference "Digitalization and Management Innovation (DMI)", held in August 2023 in Seoul, South Korea.

More than 100 participants from 18 countries gathered both on-site and online, with nearly 50 presentations on topics related to big data management and analysis, digital transformation in education, and digitalization and innovation in management. The conference was jointly organized by two universities in China (Beijing Wuzi University and Xiangnan University) and one university in South Korea (Keimyung University).

The conference unfolded across three thematic sessions, and the presentation by Chief Assist. Prof. Gloria Hristova on the subject of "Utilization of transformer-based language models in understanding citizens' interests, sentiments, and emotions towards public services digitalization" was awarded the prize for the best presentation within the thematic session titled "Organizational behaviour in digital transformation."

All accepted conference papers are published online by IOS Press in Volume 376 of the Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications (FAIA) book series. This series covers all aspects of theoretical and applied research in the field of artificial intelligence in the form of monographs, selected doctoral theses, handbooks and collections. The FAIA series is indexed in the world-recognized scientific information databases Scopus and Web of Science.
