Assoc. Prof. Savina Mihaylova-Goleminova Ph.D., lecturer in The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and director of the master’s program “Economics and Management of Public Resources”, made a valuable contribution within the Round Table Discussion for Curriculum Development of the course on “Legal Environment of Doing Business in the EU” under the Jean Monnet Module (Co-funded by the EU) for the Symbiosis Law School, Pune, Symbiosis International University.

Her inputs were incorporated in modelling the syllabus and pedagogy as per EU standards and the syllabus has been accredited by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and the Faculty will be rolling out the 3-credit course on Legal Environment of Doing Business in the EU as a Value Added Course.

In light of her expertise and her active involvement in the course, she delivered lectures on 3rd and 4th November 2022 to the participants enrolling for the course on the following topics under “Setting up a Business in EU”:

  • Establishing a Company and understanding of Company law in the EU;
  • Foreign subsidiaries and Joint Ventures;
  • Tax regime;
  • Environmental Standards.

Assoc. Prof. Savina Mihaylova-Goleminova will be leading and teaching the certificate course in the periodic reports to the European Commission together with Dr. Bindu S Ronald, LL.M, Ph.D, Erasmus Fellow, Jean Monnet Module Coordinator (Co-funded by the EU), professor of Law, Symbiosis Law School, Pune Symbiosis International University.
