On 8 December 2025, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” welcomed 11th-grade students from the National Trade and Banking High School, participants in three interest-based groups entitled “Accounting Experts”, led by Ms. Margarita Kotseva. The visit was jointly organised by the Career Centre and the Alumni Club of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and focused on strengthening the link between the academic community and secondary education.

The guests were welcomed by Prof. Eleonora Stancheva and Chief Assist. Prof. Dr. Nikolay Katsarski, who delivered a lecture to the students entitled “Depreciation of Fixed Assets: Types of Depreciation. Linear and Non-linear Methods”.

The visit provided an opportunity for direct contact with the university environment and contributed to deepening the students’ interest in accounting. The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, together with the Career Centre and the Alumni Club, will continue to develop similar initiatives supporting the education and professional development of future economists.
