Today and tomorrow – April 28 and 29, 2026 – the pilot edition of the initiative “Law for Entrepreneurs” is taking place at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. The event is organized by LexStudio with the support of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, the Bulgarian-British Chamber of Commerce, the Vienna Economic Forum, and the Alumni Club of the Faculty.
As part of the initiative, the first-of-its-kind practical training “Law for Young Entrepreneurs: How to Build a Business Without Legal Risks” is being held.

The event has attracted significant interest from a diverse and inspiring audience of young people, including students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, the Medical University – Varna, pupils from the Sofia Mathematical High School, practicing lawyers, as well as students from the Faculty of Physics at Sofia University, among others.
Objective and Concept
The masterclass aims to develop practical legal literacy and entrepreneurial skills among students and young people interested in business. The training integrates knowledge from law, economics, and management, with a focus on:
- identifying and managing legal risks
- building a regulatory culture
- making informed business decisions
- creating sustainable and competitive business models
The program covers key topics such as company formation, taxation, corporate governance, intellectual property protection, personal data protection, marketing in a regulated environment, and startup financing.
Lecturers
The training features established academics and practitioners:
- Assist. Prof. Dr. Nikoleta Voynova – lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, expert in intellectual property
- Attorney Nikoleta Nesheva – lawyer, tax consultant, and co-founder of LexStudio
- Viktor Goleminov – marketing expert and co-founder of LexStudio

Welcome Address
A welcome address by Ambassador Dr. Elena Kârcheva, Secretary General of the Vienna Economic Forum, will be presented during the event.
It emphasizes that legal knowledge is a key factor for the success of any business initiative, and that understanding the regulatory framework is essential for reducing risk, attracting investment, and building sustainable business models. It also highlights the role of universities as drivers of entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as the Forum’s mission to promote economic cooperation in the region from the Adriatic to the Black Sea.
Presentation of Results from the GreenDigiHub Project
Progress on the project GreenDigiHub – Green Digital Hub for Startups and Social Enterprises (Erasmus+, KA220-YOU) will be presented during the event.
Work Package 2 – completed:
- All indicators achieved
- Development of the Sustainable Startups and Social Enterprises Guide
- Formulation of 15 practical recommendations for young entrepreneurs
- Results validated through focus groups and institutional feedback
- Materials translated and widely disseminated
Work Package 3:
- Study involving 46 participants
- Balanced assessment of the opportunities and risks of AI
- Development of a practical training course (AI in business, ethics, law)
- Currently undergoing localization
Work Package 4:
- Creation of the platform greendigihub.eu
- 7 training topics and 7 tests
- Integrated chatbot
- Translation forthcoming
Work Package 5:
- Active communication campaign
- Podcasts (2–3 per month)
- Distribution via YouTube, Spotify, and social media
Opening
The official opening will be delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Savina Mihaylova-Goleminova, academic lead of the course, with the participation of Adriana Branicheva from the Board of the Alumni Club of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, as well as representatives of academia, business, and partner organizations.
