On October 16, a guest lecturer in the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration was Prof. Dr. Simeon Simov, Dean of one of the leading faculties in Western Sydney University - School of Computer, Data and Mathematical Sciences.

WSU is ranked 1st in the Impact Ranking of the international ranking Times Higher Education.

Prof. Simov gave a lecture on the contemporary challenges to big data science, his team's latest research on the topic, and the application of big data analytics in energy and utility services.

The previous week, Prof. Simov held meetings with the management of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration for joint initiatives in areas of common interest.
