On 13 December, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” opened its doors to upper secondary school students, their parents, and all prospective applicants.

The main aim of the initiative was to present the Faculty’s bachelor’s programmes, its modern learning environment, and the practice-oriented nature of its education. As part of the event, presentations were delivered on the four bachelor’s programmes:

• Economics and Finance (programmes taught in English and French);
• International Trade and Investment (taught in English);
• Business Administration (programmes taught in English, German, and French);
• Accounting, Finance and Digital Applications (taught in English).

The presentations were held every hour, giving participants the opportunity to receive detailed information about curricula, opportunities for international mobility, internships, and career development after graduation.

Meetings with current students from the various programmes attracted strong interest among visitors, providing opportunities for direct dialogue, the sharing of personal experiences, and a better understanding of student life at the Faculty.

As part of the programme, exclusive career guidance sessions were also organised in Room 401. They were aimed at students who were still undecided about their future career choice and offered individual guidance and consultations from professionals. The sessions were held in two time slots and required prior registration. The career consultations were conducted by Nadya Mihova, HR Manager at EY Bulgaria.

We would like to thank all lecturers and students who enthusiastically shared their experience, as well as the participants in the career consultations, for their engagement and interest.
