Two students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) Master's Programme Applied Econometrics and Economic Modelling (AEEM), Ivan Vrategov (enrolled 2017) and Kalina Angelova (enrolled 2016), won the first place in the 2019 Datathon organized by the Data Science Society. They were part of the winning team Chameleons, which also included Krassimir Paskalev and Stanislav Dimov.

The AEEM and FEBA faculty are proud to recruit the best and train the best for the challenges of the data world.

This year’s Datathon included:

- 2 cases by Kaufland IT-Hub Bulgaria, Sofia Municipality, Green Sofia, Telelink, Sofia Development Association

- 4 hosts including Beirut AI, Incubate IND Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Telelink and SofiaLab

- participants from more than 20 countries

- 6 finalists
