From June 4 until June 8, the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev, delivered a series of lectures at the Sarajevo School of Economics and Business, part of the Sarajevo University in Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the Erasmus + program.

The lectures, given in English, were presented to students of Prof. Sabina Silajdzic from the bachelor programs of the University of Sarajevo and were related to energy economics and management in the energy industry:

 

  1. Global energy trends. International economic affairs and energy diplomacy;
  2. Energy balances – global, European, national, and regional perspectives. Economic indicators for the energy sector. Energy independence; Security of supply; Energy efficiency; Energy Poverty;
  3. Economic regulation of energy & utilities. Institutions, pricing mechanisms, and stakeholders;
  4. Management and innovations in energy and utilities. Skill sets and job opportunities.

 

During his visit, Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev met with the Vice Rector of the “Džemal Bijedić” University in Mostar, Prof. Veldin Ovčina.
