BUSINESS PLANNING AND CONTROL

 

Status: Required course

Period: Third year, Second semester

ECTS credits: 6+3

Class hours: 90 class hours (30 lectures and 60 seminars)

Language: Bulgarian

Requirements: Basic knowledge in management and economics

Prerequisites: Completed courses in Fundamentals of management, HRM, Micro- and Macroeconomics

 

Course content

The course is an introduction to the systems of planning and control in the organizations. Students acquire skills to organize these systems and to develop plans; they learn about the different forms of control. Special attention is paid to the acquisition of knowledge and skills to identify and assess the real business opportunities in various sectors of the economy, the development of the business plan of the organizations and the acquisition of knowledge and skills to take practical steps towards starting their own business.
