The session was moderated by the CSR Director, Professor Simeon Evstatiev of the Department of Arabic and Semitic Studies at Sofia University. The session was attended both online and in person by more than forty senior and junior faculty from various departments of Sofia University, CAS fellows, researchers from the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies with Ethnographic Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Institute for Historical Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the New Bulgarian University, as well as other participants interested in the subject.

Vladimir Gradev teaches Theory of Religion and Culture of the Renaissance and Baroque in the Cultural Studies Program of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, and is the editor-in-chief of the journal Philosophy. He is the author of Прочити на Данте (Readings of Dante) in three volumes (Sofia: Komunitas, 2023).
