9th International Summer School "Religion and Public Life"

In July 2011, CSR hosted the 9th International Summer School "Religion and Public Life", with the participation of the outstanding sociologist of religion Adam Seligman from Boston University, USA. Colleagues from Europe, America, Asia, and Africa also took part. This year the theme of the Summer School was "A Mosaic of Margins: Ethnicity, Religion, and Belonging". The event took place in Sofia, Plovdiv, and in the Rhodopi region of Bulgaria in the period 4 – 18 of July 2011.
