Visit of scientists from the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, University of Sofia to University of Cambridge, UK within the H2020 Materials Networking project

From the 12th to the 15th of May, 2019, the members of the Management Committee of the H2020 Materials Networking project Prof. Georgi Vayssilov (Coordinator pf the project), Prof. Roumen Tsekov Prof. Tony Spassov, Assoc. Prof. Rosica Nikolova and Assoc. Prof. Elena Vassileva, visited the University of Cambridge, UK.

Prof. Lindsay Greer, Head of the School of Physical Sciences and Professor of Materials Science from Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy (DMSM) and Prof. Vasant Kumar, Head of Materials Chemistry Group, Professor in Materials Chemistry in DMSM and Director of studies and Tutor of Trinity Hall, were the initiators and the hosts of this visit as a part of the ongoing activities within the H2020 Materials Networking project. The Bulgarian scientists had visited DMSM, the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (DCEB) as well as the Department of Chemistry as a part of the widening cooperation between the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, University of Sofia and the University of Cambridge.
