On June 13-14, 2024, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" will host the 8th European Workshop on Political Macroeconomics. The workshop aims to provide a forum for discussing current economic topics in the fields of political economy, macroeconomics, and institutional economics, with the participation of scholars and researchers from Bulgaria, Germany, the United Kingdom, Chile, Switzerland, France, Poland, and Turkey.

The workshop's various sections will address issues related to income inequalities, economic policy aspects, climate change's economic effects, migration, and more.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration is hosting the event as part of its close cooperation with the University of Reading, UK.
