On June 20 and 21, 2024, "NAMRB - Activ" in collaboration with the Center for Educational Services at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” will organize a qualification course on “Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings” in Sofia at the Park Hotel “Moscow”.

The course aims to enhance the theoretical and practical knowledge of the participants in areas such as energy markets, energy communities, financing energy efficiency measures, and more.

We invite:

  • Municipal experts engaged in the management and maintenance of municipal property and building stock;
  • Deputy mayors responsible for relevant sectors;
  • Municipal councilors from relevant committees and mayors with a professional interest.

Participants in the course will receive a certificate for participating in a postgraduate qualification course, issued by the Center for Educational Services of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.

The program includes topics focused on:

  • Energy markets and services
  • Energy communities and integration of renewable energy sources (RES)
  • Sources for financing energy efficiency (EE) and RES measures – financial instruments and green bonds
  • Taxonomy
  • Inspection of municipal buildings
  • ESCO – financing energy efficiency and RES

Key speakers on the topics included in the program will be Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”; Eng. Ivaylo Alexiev, Executive Director of the Sustainable Energy Development Agency (SEDA); Chief Assist. Prof. Dr. Maria Trifonova, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration; Chief Assist. Prof. Dr. Desislava Kalcheva, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration; Kiril Raychev, Alliance for Energy Efficiency.
