On November 22, the Career Orientation Week “Career in CSR/ESG” was successfully launched. The beginning was given with an opening discussion in hall 304 of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. The event was attended by the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Assoc. Dr. Atanas Georgiev, Olya Peneva, ESG Help Desk manager, Assoc. Dr. Marina Stefanova, ESG Lab manager and the head of the master’s program “Responsible and Sustainable Governance”, Elena Mateeva from the Bulgarian Society for public relations, Darina Georgieva from the UN Global Network Bulgaria, as well as students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
The Dean of FEBA welcomed all those present at the opening discussion and emphasized: “Now is the time for today's generation, those between the age of 20 and 40, to find innovative solutions to already known problems, that is why we also support social entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration”.
Emphasis during the discussion was the dynamics in the profession of the CSR specialist and the development it undergoes with the development of sustainable management. “The field of CSR provides many opportunities for professional realization, regardless of whether candidates are interested in working in communications, legal department, business operations, ESG department. The most valuable thing is that the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, together with its partners, is building a community of sustainable leaders of the future”.
