Theoretical studies of:

  • Magnetic properties of Heusler alloys as an alternative to rare-earth free permanent magnets;
  • Structure and conducting properties of functionalized and boron-nitrogen doped carbon nanotubes;
  • Band structure, conducting, optical and magnetic characteristics of extended p-conjugated systems;
  • Reactivity indices of organic molecules
  • Electronic structure of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons with and without defects.
