Mr. Yonko Chuklev, Chief Operating Officer of "Afranga" and a member of the Board of Directors of the Bulgarian Industrial Association, as well as the Professional Association for Robotics and Automation (PARAi), presented to students from the programs "Economics and Finance", "Artificial Intelligence for Business and Finance", and "Finance and Banking" the topic of currency markets.

In the lecture, Mr. Chuklev discussed the characteristics of currency markets, the main participants and subsegments of currency markets, the various currency regimes applied in emerging economies, the reasons for depreciation and appreciation of currency, and provided numerous examples from recent years of the impact of factors such as: the prime interest rate, inflation, and budget deficit on the currencies of several countries in Europe and Asia.
