B.A. graduates have the professional qualification of library and information specialists. They possess the necessary skills to work in the following fields:
- scientific libraries (including national, academic and university ones), general libraries (state, regional and community center libraries; specialized libraries (in schools, colleges, and institutions, etc.)
- information centers and structures functioning in the sphere of production and distribution. These could be national, academic, or functioning on a government, municipal level, as well as various centers and agencies;
- document services (archives) at publishing houses, the press and other media;
- computerized information services, business information services and international information exchanges;
- book trading and press distribution (bulk trade, book markets, book distribution agencies).
