One of the computer rooms at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, 303, was successfully renovated under the SHARE project. The hall has high-tech equipment for hybrid teaching (camera and sound) and will be used during the summer semester of the academic year 2021/2022.
The SHARE project is implemented by the SHARE ERIC Bulgaria, Consortium from the National Roadmap for Scientific Infrastructure "Study of Health, Aging and Retirement in Europe - SHARE" with IFS coordinator at BAS and partner Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski” through the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. The project manager at Sofia University is Prof. D.Sc. Zhelyu Vladimirov, Lead Researcher (R4) at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
The main objectives of the project are to increase the research capacity for information and data (from the relevant waves of the project), increase the technological capacity of infrastructure, ensure synergies between research and educational activities, provide scholarships for masters and doctoral students for projects using SHARE-ERIC data, dissemination of results and scientific publications.
In the past 2021, the project repaired and modernized Hall 303 and a doctoral office in block 3 of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, conducted courses among students using data from SHARE, and published four open access articles, including two doctoral students, in the journal Revista Inclusiones, indexed in WoS.
