The applicants must take admission exams, according to the desired subjects they apply for.

The competitive exams are organized and held according to the schedule and the programs for the respective academic year.

The applicants are ranked on the basis of their exam results, multiplied by a coefficient, and the respective grades from the diploma for their secondary education.

The non-Bulgarian diplomas are to be previously recognized by the Ministry of education and science of Bulgaria and the grades evaluated according to the Bulgarian grade system.

The application documents are to be submitted in person at the SU Students' Admission Office:

15, Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd., 1504 Sofia, BULGARIA in the period June, 13 - July, 1 2022 for the academic 2022/2023 year.

The admission opportunities are achieved on stages. The candidates must get informed about the different stages and the terms of enrollment. The first stage of admission is announced on July, 5th and the enrollment is during the period July, 6th - 8th.
