Lingling Ma (R1)

Lingling Ma is an early career researcher (R1) under the National Program for support of “Young researchers and postdoc students” by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing (2013-2017) from Beijing International Studies University, a Master's degree in Human Resources Development (2018-2020) from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". She is a PhD Candidate in Business Administration from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". During her PhD studies (2020-2024) she spent one year as an exchange student at the University of Saarland (Germany). Her dissertation Artificial intelligence readiness and adoption in SMEs is scheduled for October 24, 2024.

Lingling Ma has earned a PMR certification by PMI-Bulgaria. She has been actively involved in fostering bilateral cooperation between China and Bulgaria, including participation in initiatives like the International Scientific-Practical Conference „10 years Cooperation, Exchange and Connectivity between China and CEE Countries” and various innovation and entrepreneurship competitions. She has also presented her research at several international conferences, contributing to discussions on technology adoption and bilateral economic collaboration between China and Bulgaria.
