On December 1st, Milya Dimitrova, Senior Consultant “Sustainability” at “Deloitte Bulgaria”, and Julian Popov, former Minister of Environment and Water and expert on climate policies, presented to the students of the master’s program “Energy Markets and Services” at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration a guest-lecture on “Climate Negotiations and Outcomes of COP27”.

In their lecture, the two experts presented the global negotiation process for reducing carbon emissions and climate change, including commitments under the Paris Agreement and progress on them.

The lecture of the two guests was also the basis for a discussion with the students of the program, within which the current energy and climate challenges facing Bulgaria were discussed, as well as some of the possible solutions
