INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AND SYSTEMS

Contents:

The informatics course introduces in a systematic way the basic knowledge and principles of computing and information technology and systems that are necessary for every student in economics and business administration. The course program combines the capabilities of the information and communications technologies and systems with analysis and modeling of economic data, business management systems, and modern trends in the field.

Furthermore, the course enables the students to acquire basic skills for working with application software systems, typical for a modern office, to become familiar with the management systems of company resources and basic problems of modern e-commerce and e-business.

Intended learning outcomes:

Students learn basic skills for working with application software systems, typical for a modern office: word processing, spreadsheets, electronic presentations, telecommunications software.
