On November 29, 2022, students from the “Economics and Finance” and “Business Management” majors, first year, were presented with the Crocodile project, which is jointly implemented by Sofia University ‘St. Kliment Ohridskï” and several other universities within the Transform4Europe alliance.


Assoc. Dr. Aneta Antonova, Deputy Rector of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Assoc. Dr. Bilyana Borisova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Geology and Geography, and Assoc. Dr. Dimitar Zlatinov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, presented the opportunities that together with their colleagues from the University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland), the University of Alicante (Spain) and the Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania), the students of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” will have in the future. The student Milena Tocheva from the Faculty of Geology and Geography presented in an accessible way for her colleagues the main advantages of the implementation of the project implemented within the framework of the “Erasmus” program.


The Crocodile project aims to prepare organizational, substantive and methodological solutions that will allow the introduction of an international and interdisciplinary academic environment, providing modern and effective education for students.

The objectives of the project are:

  • developing a common framework for structuring interdisciplinary courses to be held in universities from different countries;
  • promotion and exchange of effective practices in the field of global, multicultural and online accessible education by conducting summer schools;
  • promoting cooperation between institutions working on the project and student mobility.
