On September 8 and 9, 2022, the second edition of the training “Good practices in the construction of photovoltaic plants” was held, jointly organized by the Association for Production, Storage and Trade in Electricity (APSTE), the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and “Utilities” magazine. The first training was held on July 20-21 this year with great interest, and this trend was also maintained in the second edition – in total, over 130 professionals from the industry participated in both trainings.

The event was opened by the chairman of APSTE, Nikola Gazdov, and the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Assoc. Dr. Atanas Georgiev. Lecturers in the training were Mariyana Yaneva, Director of Politics, APSTE; Valentin Gospodinov, Sunotec; Dimitar Tsekov, technical director, Renergy; Krasimira Petkova, ESG manager, Eneri; Sasha Vasileva, Quality Management Manager, HEC; Rositsa Chopeva, Partner xFigure Finance; Delyan Iliev, Managing Partner, Renewable Energy Insurance Broker; Stefana Tsekova, Managing Partner Schoenherr. The training is part of the initiatives related to the master's program “Energy Markets and Services” at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

The course is based on SolarPower Europe's “Guide to Best Practices in the Design, Procurement and Construction of Photovoltaic Power Plants”, which APSTE translates, distributing it with guidance from the experience of APSTE's Bulgarian member companies, both on-site and off-site international markets.

All participants received certificates for their participation from the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the end of the second day.

Due to the great interest in the first and second edition, the organizers are planning a third one before the end of the year.
