A new online course "States and Corporations: Sustainable development, CSR and Ethics", an initiative of TOTAL Professeurs Associés (TPA), backed up by the energy company TotalEnergies EP Bulgaria, will take place from 15 to 19 November 2021 in the FEBA MS Teams platform. The course is part of the initiatives related to the Master’s Program “Energy Markets and Services” and this year will also accommodate students from the new Master’s Program “Responsible and Sustainable Governance”.

The course is for students and public officials and will be in English. It can accommodate up to 70 students based on their order of registration.

Contents of the course:

  • What criteria can define the “good” or “bad” behaviour of a global company?
  • What is the nature of its responsibility towards the civil society?

The answers to these questions define the outline of a “corporate social responsibility”, based on core values, intelligible in every culture. These core values are the foundation of an ethical behaviour. The sphere of exercise of this “social responsibility” has to be clearly defined in partnership with the actors of the civil society.

  • CSR: Challenges, implementation and lessons;

  • Security and Corporate Social Responsibility;
