On 9 November 2019 a group of students from the master’s program “Energy Markets and Services” at FEBA visited Kozloduy NPP – the main electricity generating plant in Bulgaria. The group included also the Director of the Master’s program Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev, PhD and its coordinator Assist. Prof. Mariya Trifonova.

 

During their stay the group visited unit 5 (engine room), the central dispatch unit of the electricity distribution units, as well as the command hall of unit 2 (under decommissioning) currently operated by the State Enterprise Radioactive Waste (SERAW)

Students also visited the office of Kozloduy NPP - New Build EAD, where its Executive Director Lyuben Marinov presented the activities of the company and the stages of realization of new nuclear facilities.

 

Students from the program and the administration of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration express their gratitude to the team of Kozloduy NPP- EAD as well as the team of State Enterprise Radioactive Waste SERAW for their hospitality and perfect organization during their visit.
