For the time of its existence Prof. Ivan Dujčev Centre has organized or has been co-organizer of more than 25 scientific symposia, conferences, seminars and round tables in the country and abroad. In 2007 an International Scientific Conference 100 Years from the Birth of Professor Ivan Dujčev, October 5-7, 2007, Varna was organized by the Centre. The research associates of Prof. Ivan Dujčev Centre are working on long-term research projects, the most interesting among which are:

9. Digital research of the palimpsests (in association with 42 related scientific centres and universities in Europe under the guidance of Hamburg University).

10. The illustrated lithurgical manuscripts from Kikkos Monastery, in association with "St. Archangel Michael" Institute in Cyprus.

11. Photographic archive with materials from the Balkan Peninsula, preserved at Prof. Ivan Dujčev Centre (in association with the Aristotelian University in Thessaloniki).

12. International project /Bulgaria-Greece/- Orthodoxy and Education in the Region of Thrace and Eastern Macedonia XVIIth-XIXth with prof. A. Tselikas /National Bank Cultural Foundation/.

13. Research of the art of the Trjavna revival school in the archive of Historical Museum - Trjavna and Centre "Ivan Dujčev".

14. I Grandi bizantini with the University Tor Vergata - Rome (prof. Santo Luca).

15. EDEM - European demo-anthropologic map with the Institute of Ethnohistory - Palermo (prof. Antonio Rigoli).

16. Vestigia - an international project in association with the "Karl Franzens" university - Graz, Austria for studying, digitalization and restoration of manuscripts.

17. Churches and Monasteries within the Ottoman Empire (15th -17th Centuries) - Kyustendil and Sofia Sandjaks. Project financed by Ministry of Education and Science.

18. The City Market-places - Micro Model of the Ethnical Contacts (15th -19th Centuries). Project financed by Ministry of Education and Science.

19. Visible and Invisible frontiers (Balkan city as a center of cultural, ethnical and religious relations). Project financed by Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
