The invitations were supplemented by the programme as well as by the requirement for formal clothing. A special bronze medallion for the guests was issued to commemorate the event. It was a copy of the medallion of the Rector’s necklace; the backside contained the official name “Университетъ Св. Климентъ Охридски София, 1888–1938” (University St. Kliment Ohridski). It was accompanied by a diploma, written in Latin, ending by the traditional wish “Valete et nobis favete”.
