The Centre of Educational Technology is one of the research units of the Faculty of Education. It works out innovative educational technologies, based on the integration of the information and communication technologies in both education and social work.

The team of the centre participates in national and international research projects. The most recent two of them have been a part of Socrates programme of the EU: "OBSER ERASMUS – quality of student mobility in the context of the common European policy for the development of higher education’’ and EENOVATE – E-learning – new opportunities for the universities from the EU candidate countries.

In addition to its research The Centre of Educational Technologies performs constant teaching activities. It qualifies bachelor, master and doctor students, teachers and managing pedagogical staff. All courses focus on the integration of the ICT in the fields of education and social work. The students are involved in both face-to-face and e- learning activities.
