The annual mountain hike, organised by the Sports Department and the Sports Club of Sofia University, is here again!

This autumn we invite you to an unforgettable ascent to Cherni Vrah (2290 m) – the symbol of Vitosha and one of the most beautiful peaks over Sofia.

Join us for a day full of activity, fresh air, good spirits, and new friendships.

The ascent to Cherni Vrah is open to all students, lecturers, and staff of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".

Practical information:

Date and time: 18.10.2025 (Saturday) start time - 9:45 am.

Meeting place: Aleko Hut.

Transport to Aleko Hut: bus No. 66, departing from the "Zoo" stop at 8:30 or 9:00 am.

Route: "Aleko Hut – Cherni Vrah – back"Duration: approximately 4 hours round trip.

Difficulty level: suitable for beginners.

Required equipment and clothing: comfortable hiking shoes, warm jacket, raincoat, water and sandwich.
