On November 5, 2025, the first international conference “Standards for a Sustainable Future” will take place in Sofia. Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” will host the event, organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in cooperation with the Association of Sustainability Professionals, Club 9000, the Association of Environmental Management Professionals, and under the auspices of the Bulgarian Institute for Standardization.

The forum will bring together experts and professionals from Bulgaria and abroad, representatives of regulatory bodies and institutions, academic and research organizations, businesses, as well as students and young practitioners.

The event will take place on November 5, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Rectorate, Aula Magna Hall.

The program includes panel discussions and practical workshops dedicated to:

• the latest international sustainability standards from the ISO family;
• the future of sustainability management in the context of global policies;
• the integration of standards into corporate strategies and financial reporting;
• the application of leading tools for sustainability management and ESG data.

The conference will provide an opportunity to exchange experience, build new partnerships, and create a shared vision for a sustainable future through international standards.
