The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" won an award at the b2b Media Employer Branding Awards 2025. This year’s competition saw a record number of applicants, and our faculty secured first place in the "Sustainable (ESG) Project" category. The faculty actively works to establish its leadership position in sustainability by creating and supporting various initiatives in this field. Sirma and ENERGO-PRO Varna EAD placed second and third in the category, respectively.
Attending the event on behalf of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nikolay Netov, Vice-Dean for Digital Transformation, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Todor Yalamov, Vice-Dean for Research, Innovation, and Projects.
For three consecutive years, FEBA has been expanding its efforts to implement the university's strategy for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), establishing itself as a model educational institution that prepares students to become sustainable leaders in both the public and private sectors. Long-term and coordinated actions are being undertaken in several key areas:
- Integrating the concept of sustainable management into the governance of FEBA
- Continuously updating the curriculum by developing new educational programs in partnership with businesses and the public sector
- Organizing extracurricular activities for students
- Implementing the "NetZero Campus" concept, creating a learning environment that reflects the philosophy and values of sustainability
- Contributing to the development of new university policies
- Advancing policies on diversity, inclusion, and support
The award for "Employer of the Year" was given to Fantastico Group Ltd., while the Employer Brand Leader prizes were awarded to Accenture Bulgaria, Paysera Bulgaria, and Philip Morris Bulgaria. The individual award went to Kristin Rankova-Beshkova from Experian Bulgaria, the organizers announced.
In the new "AI Technology of the Year" category, EPAM Systems Bulgaria Ltd. won first place. In the "Employer Branding Video" competition, the winners were Silver Star Motors Ltd., bTV Radio Group, and PHOENIX Pharma Ltd.
The winners in the "HR Strategy of the Year" category were Henkel Bulgaria.
The best in the "Employer Branding Innovation" category turned out to be dm Bulgaria, while Address Real Estate JSC took first place in "Employer Branding Idea". Concentrix Bulgaria topped the "Innovation in Talent Education" category.
The jury selected Yettel Bulgaria as number one in "Employer Branding Project", while UniCredit Bulbank was the most favored in "Innovation in Talent Management". Minimart was ranked first in the "Emerging Leader" category, followed by Inetum Bulgaria.
Mebeli Videnov outperformed its competitors in the "Employer Branding PR Campaign" category.
Lidl Bulgaria won the "Culture and Values" award, Kaufland Bulgaria excelled in "Excellence in Coaching" and Acronis was recognized in "Flexible Workplace".
In the "Excellence in Stress Management" category, first place went to Zagorka AD, part of the Heineken Corporation. Postbank claimed the top honor in "Excellence in Teamwork". The "Creative Thinking" award went to Publicis Groupe Bulgaria, while UniCredit Bulbank won "HR Excellence."
The "Employer Branding Event" award was given to Devin Family Day, and in the "Sustainable (ESG) Project" category, first place was taken by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
In a highly competitive field, the "Diversity and Inclusion" category was won by Fantastico Group, while Sutherland Bulgaria took first place in "Employer Branding Strategy".
The best in "Management of New Employees" was Progress, while TINQIN won in "Team Building Strategies". The "Employer Branding Network" category was topped by Sopharma Group, the "HR Technology of the Year" award went to Paysera Bulgaria, and in "Education Innovation" the jury recognized Schwarz IT Bulgaria.
