On March 9 and 11, 2023, was held the 10th edition of the Global Baku Forum "Today's World: Challenges and Hopes" organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center. In this context various topics were explored, some of which related to global security and peace, effective multilateralism, the future of Africa, China's role in global development and security, as well as key sectoral issues - the future of education, how to transform global economies and cities of the future, sustainability and global economy, etc.

The forum was attended by over 400 participants, including current and former heads of state and government, Nobel laureates, international organizations and civil societies. The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" was presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marina Stefanova, head of the Master's program "Responsible and Sustainable Governance" and the ESG Academy, who talked about "Implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in the Countries from the Extended Black Sea Region - the Role of Universities" in front of their UN SDSN Black Sea colleagues.

The forum was also attended by the President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev, who took part in a session dedicated to the scientific and technological revolution, the President of Bulgaria between 2012 — 2017 Rosen Plevneliev, the President of the Black Sea Universities Network (BSUN) - Eden Mamut, as well as and a representative of the Bulgarian youth.
