Dr. Mariya Trifonova, Chief Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial Economics and Management of The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA), has been elected in a competitive procedure as member of the Steering Committee of the European Technology & Innovation Platform on wind energy (ETIPWind) based on her research and stakeholder engagement work aimed at unlocking offshore wind energy potential in the Black Sea region.

ITIPs are industry-led stakeholder fora recognised by the European Commission as key actors in driving innovation, knowledge transfer and European competitiveness in their sector. ETIPWind will develop research and innovation agenda and roadmap for action for the wind industry at EU and national level setting the priorities for public funding of research and innovation projects in the next three years.

The first meeting of the new Steering Committee, policy officers and stakeholders will be held on 13th October in Brussels.
