As part of the study program of the discipline "Governance of Sustainable Energy Systems" we are welcoming the energy security expert Martin Vladimirov. He holds a master’s degree in Energy Security and International Affairs from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, Washington, USA.

Martin Vladimirov works in this field mainly addressing issues in the geographical scope of Europe and the Balkans. In recent years, our guest speaker has also carried out research with focus on energy transition, alternative energy technologies and the geopolitical dimensions of the energy and financial markets, as well as Russian and Chinese economic influence in Europe. The lecture lasts 1 hour, 20 minutes will be devoted to student questions.
