On August 25, 26 and 27, 2021, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” hosted the online Second Summer School “Facility Management” - a joint certification course of Facilities Magazine and the Center for Educational Services of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.

The summer school was held with the assistance of the Bulgarian Facility Management Association (BGFMA). Some of the school's visitors will enroll in the new class of the Master's program "Facility Management" in 2021/2022.

The training was attended by 25 participants - representatives of internal facility management departments, facility management companies, industrial enterprises, service providers, as well as PhD students and students.

Lectures in the training program were:

  • Bisera Ivanova, Facility Management Director, Festo Production EOOD;
  • Georgi Belov, Building Technology Segment Manager;
  • Goran Milanov, Ambassador, EuroFM and former Chairman of the Board of BGFMA;
  • Ivan Velkov, Chairman of the Board, Bulgarian Facility Management Association;
  • Yordan Stankov, Member of the Management Board, Bulgarian Facility Management Association;
  • Krassimir Punchev, New System; Lyubomir Ivanov, Engineering and Marketing Specialist, Industry Segment, ABB Bulgaria;
  • Olga Stoichkova, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of ASBS;
  • Petar Georgiev, Head of Strategy and Cooperation, AMPECO;
  • Dr. Petar Tashev, Facility Manager; Silvia Pavlova MBA CMC, Founder of Proptech Bulgaria.

The aim of the summer school was to provide participants with quality post-graduate training, through up-to-date information on the basics, practice and development in the context of facility management. Additionally, through high interactivity, the training was an opportunity to exchange experience and build relationships both between the participants themselves and between the various speakers, sponsors and organizers.
