On May 12, a guest lecturer in the Master's program "Energy Markets and Services" at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski” was Krasimir Zhivachki, Executive Secretary of the Association of traders with electricity in Bulgaria (ATEB). His lecture was related to the role of sectoral associations in market reforms, and during it he presented an overview of current challenges in the electricity market.

Krasimir Zhivachki is the executive secretary of ATEB - an association uniting leading companies in the energy trading sector from Bulgaria and the region. He joined the association in 2015. Prior to that, he worked on projects related to energy efficiency, sustainable development and renewable energy sources. He holds a Master's degree in Renewable Energy Management from the University of Freiburg, Germany, and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Protection from Sofia University.
