Dear colleagues, we invite you to participate in a competition for a photo and a special message to it “Erasmus+ with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Sofia University: A window to my Europe”. Show us the beauty and diversity of Europe through your eyes.
Send your photos and special messages to the email address: photos@feb.uni-sofia.bg until April 19th, 2021 and you can become part of the first outdoor exhibition that the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” organizes in partnership with Sofia Municipality, The Bureau of the European Parliament and the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria.
Rules for participation:
1. The duration of the competition for a photo and a message to it #FEBA4EU is March 22nd – April 19th 2021. Students, professors, and administrative staff of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration who have carried out mobility in Europe as well as exchange students studying at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration are invited to participate.
2. Contestants must live/study in a country of the European Union and own the copyright to the photos and the texts they send. There are no age restrictions.
3. You can participate in the contest by sending a photo and a message to it by e-mail: photos@feb.uni-sofia.bg. Each contestant is allowed to participate with a maximum of five photos that are accompanied by the author's name, a brief description, and a special message to each photo. Recommended minimal image resolution is 4500 x 3000 pix / 100dpi (landscape format) and the maximum resolution is 7000 x 4700 pix / 100 dpi (landscape format). Each photo must be accompanied by the information listed in Table 1:

4. The topic of the competition is “Erasmus+ with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Sofia University: A Window to My Europe”.
5. By sending a photo and a special message to it, each participant agrees with these rules and grants to the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and the European Parliament the rights to use the photo and text and gives permission to resize them, add captions, publish them on the organizers’ websites and on their profiles on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as well as in printed publications and their distribution on the territory of Bulgaria until March 31st 2022.
6. The participants in the competition are required to fill in a form for expressing consent for processing of personal data and a declaration for assignment of copyright by March 31st 2022.
Required documents to be sent for participation in the contest:
1. Photos (from 1 to 5, with parameters according to paragraph 3. above)
2. Description for each photo according to the template in this file .
Results:
1. For the selection of the best photos and accompanying special messages a jury was formed consisting of: Chairman - Assoc. Prof. Iya Petkova, PhD and members: Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Boryana Bogdanova, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Marcelen Yovogan, PhD, Chief Assist. Prof. Ilia Atanasov, PhD, Atina Shalamanova, as well as Miriyana Todorova from the Bureau of the EP and Boyko Blagoev from the EC Office in Sofia. The jury will select 26 photographs for the exhibition.
2. The evaluation of the jury will be based on the relationship of the photos with the topic and originality of the messages as well as the relationship with the academic activities of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
3. The winning photos will be printed and presented at a specially organized open-air exhibition, NDK Park Space, in the period April 30th - May 14th 2021. All winners will receive promotional materials from the European Parliament. Additionally, the photos will be promoted by the social network accounts of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Bureau of the European Parliament.
The competition is supported by the Sofia Municipality, the Bureau of the European Parliament and the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria.
