“Some companies that have received the Innovative Enterprise of the Year award in the past have reoriented themselves very quickly - a towel company with its own factory in the US has reoriented itself and started producing special textiles from which other companies have started to create protective clothing”, said Dr. Yalamov. Regarding investments during the crisis, Dr. Yalamov commented that there is a opposition of opinions, the predominant being that one should not invest in innovation during the crisis, but in preserving jobs.

Dr. Yalamov outlined the actions of the Ministry of Education and Science as "very interesting moves" in terms of supporting innovation and research in universities and the development of university networks. “We are developing the SCHOLARNET project in partnership with Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. In other words, there are examples of how the government decided to invest in science during the crisis”, he said.
