The first summer school for students from the University of Ningbo, China was held on July 01-10, 2019 as part of the agreement between the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University and Zhejiang University Ningbo Institute оf Technology. The port of Ningbo is the world leader in cargo handling per year.

The summer school was hosted by FEBA in partnership with the Centre for China Economy and Politics at Sofia University.

 

The summer school continues the collaboration between FEBA and Zhejiang University Ningbo Institute оf Technology. Last year, as part of this collaboration, a group of students and PhD candidates from FEBA visited Ningbo, China.

 

During the summer school the students attended lectures on international economic relations in which emphasis was placed on the One Belt, One Road initiative, logistics, energy markets and practical knowledge. The students visited the two biggest Bulgarian ports, the business incubator, the logistics hub and the free zone of Burgas.
