The jury distinguished the proposals of Veneta Ilieva and Neli Tankova as the most useful for the company’s clients.

Four student teams from the “Business Analytics” master`s program of FEBA at SU “St. Kliment Ohridski” analyzed over 4 GB of anonymous telematic data generated by the platform for GPS tracking of moving Netfleet objects and suggested original ideas and solutions for their use in the most effective and useful way for clients.

Members of the jury, which evaluated the presentations, were Neterra's managers: Neven Dilkov - founder and manager of the company, Marinela Georgieva - Chief Operating Officer, Maya Kalcheva - Marketing and Communications Manager, and two Netfleet representatives - Marian Rangelov and Martin Hailezov.

The first team consisted of Vladimir Zakov, Ralitsa Nikiforova and Kristian Iliev, the second, of Veneta Ilieva and Neli Tankova, the third, of Kiril Genov, Maria Yolova, Nikolay Stefanov, Stefani Poycheva, and the fourth, of Sonya Ilieva, Lyudmila Dimeva, Valentina Pavlova, Daria Schultz and Preslava Sergeeva.

The students were led by Associate Professor Boryana Bogdanova - lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University.

All four groups successfully accomplished Neterra's task - to analyze the anonymous data provided by the Netfleet platform and to make suggestions about how the platform users can optimally use the data when making fleet management decisions.

The jury evaluated the proposal made by the second team working on the project - that of Veneta Ilieva and Neli Tankova - as the most useful for the clients of Netfleet.

After making their presentations, the students visited Sofia Data Center - one of Neterra’s data centers.

The four student groups worked on a real case from Neterra’s business which has been made possible by the recently concluded agreement (https://neterra.net/en/news/104) on co-operation between the company and the university.
