The 2nd School “Computational modeling of materials” of the H2020 project Materials Networking will be organized at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, Sofia University, Bulgaria on the 4th and the 5th of September, 2017.

Prof. Stoyko Fakirov was awarded by the IAAM with its 2017 Medal for Notable and Outstanding Research in the Advanced Materials Science &Technology

The International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM), with more than 50 000 members from over 140 countries, bestowed Professor Stoyko Fakirov, alumnus and former Vice-Rector of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, with its 2017 Medal for Notable and Outstanding Research in the Advanced Materials Science &Technology.

Sofia University is the first Bulgarian university to become a member of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP)

The Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy of SU has joined the biggest and most influential pharmaceutical organization in the world and is now the only Bulgarian academic institution included in the World list of Pharmacy schools.

Award for the Best Poster at the 8th Scientific Session "Young scientists in the world of polymers"

Denitsa Nikolova and Vladislava Dimitrova, students in Eco-Chemistry, 4th course, at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, Sofia University “St. Kl. Ohridski“, have received an Award for the Best Poster at the 8th Scientific Session "Young scientists in the world of polymers".

The Best Young Investigator for 2017 in Polymer Science in Bulgaria won by a young scientist from the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, Sofia University

Dr. Marin Simeonov, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical and Applied Organic Chemistry, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” has been awarded as The Best Young Investigator for 2017 in the field of Polymer Science in Bulgaria.
