В Стопанския факултет от 18 до 31 януари 2010 г. Проф. Дилип Гош ще чете курс по
“International Finance and Foreign Exchange Markets”.

 

Проф. д-р Дилип Гош (САЩ) беше избран да поеме професурата по банково дело, финансирана от Асоциацията на гръцките търговски банки, HELLENIC BANK ASSOCIATION, към Стопанския факултет на СУ „Св. Климент Охридски”. Биография на Проф. Дилип Гош

Курсът се чете на английски език и е отворен за всички студенти от Софийския университет, които проявяват интерес към темата. Курсът се зачита за изборен за тези студенти, които ще се явят на изпит.

Желаещите могат да се запишат при г-жа Иванка Джакова, стая 409 в сградата на Стопанския факултет (до 15 януари). Местата са ограничени (30 души).

Курсът започва на 18 януари (понеделник) от 18:00 – 21:00 в зала 420. Продължава две седмици в същата зала – понеделник, четвъртък и петък.

От 18.01.2010 /понеделник/ започват лекциите по „Международни финанси и пазари за международен обмен (на англ. език)” при проф. Дилип Гош – гост – преподавател.

Курсът е задължителен за студентите от МП „Финанси и банково дело” и избираем за всички магистърски програми в Стопански факултет.

INTERNATIONAL FINANCE AND FOREIGN EXCHANGE MARKETS

Objective:

The course attempts to provide the conceptual framework to examine the basic structure of an economy and the behavioral rules for its micro-agent(s) such as a firm and/or an individual investor in the international setting. The concepts and significance of foreign exchange, balance of payments, currency market arbitrage, hedging and speculation, capital budgeting in the open-economy structure, measuring and managing transaction, translation, and political risk, and so on are the basic ingredients of this subject. More details on the coverage are provided below under course outline. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in the class discussions.
