KPMG has announced an opportunity for a Financial Data Analyst to join its Audit team. This is a full-time position scheduled to start in September and is aimed at final-year university students looking to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world professional environment.
The role operates on a hybrid model, requiring a presence in the office at least three days per week, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in Bulgaria for the remaining time. KPMG plans to hire two full-time analysts for this role during 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
The Financial Data Analyst will be tasked with a range of duties, including:
- Performing data processing and analysis for the financial audit of KPMG's clients.
- Assisting in the execution of audit reconciliations.
- Participating in the performance of analytical procedures and tests of details.
- Working closely with experienced audit professionals and benefiting from their knowledge and mentorship.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate for this role is a final-year student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Key qualifications include:
- A high level of proficiency in English (speaking, writing, and reading).
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
- A keen interest in financial markets, demonstrated either through coursework or personal projects.
- Good aptitude for working with figures.
- An interest in exploring future career prospects in the field of Audit.
