A. Sales and Distribution Finance and Planning- Accountability across IBM's Hardware (HW), Software (SW) brands and Infrastructure units within Europe- Expense, revenue, gross profit and resource analysis- Budget and forecast deployment- Affordability analysis and highlighting out-of-line situations- Assessment calculation- Reporting of actual results and gap analysis versus the assigned targets/objectives- Recommendations to the business units and driving actions with the management to secure budget achievement- Close collaboration with other Finance teams, Accounting, Business Unit, Incentive and Commission and IBM Supply Chain- Management reporting, Business Units' Top Management support on a daily basis and presentation of actual results to the IBM Executive Team on a regular basis

 

B. Services Finance and Planning Contract and Cost Controlling, Signings and Backlog Reporting-responsibility for financial side of IBM's Service contracts-creation and report of IBM contract portfolio (contract signings and revenue backlog)-supports Chief Finance Officer (CFO) in quarterly Backlog certifications to Head Quarters –r eporting of financial numbers (revenue, cost, gross profit, forecast/scenarios)-analysis of contract portfolio (analysis of month/quarter results, forecasting, actual vs. forecast analysis)-communication with other IBM functions (Accounting, Project Manager, Operation Manager, CFO)-regular financial activities (revenue/cost accruals and deferrals, revenue and cost matching)-advise on revenue recognition -analysis of cost centers (forecast vs. actual), -review and reporting of cost allocations, spending reports, Balance Sheet Controlling -control and reporting of capital/investment spending-review and approval of purchase orders-spending forecast-control and reporting of accounts receivable-support CFO in managing cash/collection and troubled receivables-presentation of results to region leaders

 

Requirements:

- 3rd or 4th year of studies at the university in Finance/Accounting/Economic

- Fluency in English – both written and spoken

- MS Office - Advanced user of Excel and Power point

- Excellent Communication skills

- Willingness to learn and work in team
