In order to render accounting support to other Aurubis companies we are looking for an Operational Accountant with German (m/f/d).

Your responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the control of incoming invoices along the entire value chain
• You process incoming reminders and cash discount claims
• You record transactions of purchases, expenses, revenues and accruals in the accounting ERP system in compliance with the applicable legislation and standards
• You support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year end close
• You are the contact person for suppliers and external auditors.

Your profile:

• You have university degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant
• You have prior experience in the field of accounting
• You have knowledge of reporting standards, VAT and Corporate income tax acts
• You are proficient in English and have advanced language skills in German
• You are confident using common MS Office products (SAP skills will be an advantage)
• You have analytical thinking and an eye for details.
