• Data Analyst /D_An/

Key responsibilities:

• Number cruncher -analysing, manipulating, and validating large data sets from internal and external for the Company data sources.
• Data miner - perform data analysis on the full range of P&C lines of business to determine loss experience and profitability by customer segments to provide recommendation on opportunities.
• Contributes to development, testing and implementation of pricing models.
• Develop the system of controls applicable on the analytical infrastructure. Specifically, this relates to areas such as code documentation, data validation reporting and evidencing of the control framework.
• Monitor developments within the market and update the Company’s price positioning analyses in real time.
• Contribute to the cross-border teams of pricing analysts in the Allianz Group. Actively engage in group-wide projects that aimed at enhancing the Company’s technical pricing framework.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors or master’s in numerical based degree such as Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Business analytics, Physics, Economics or Computer Science.
• Strong computer skills MS Office; Programming skills in SQL, Python, R or VBA will be considered an advantage.
• Previous experience from relevant employment or internships in related areas (financial services, risk management, IT consulting or other) is a plus.
• Fluency in English (Proficiency level preferred, Lower level required).
