Our team of local economists covers more than 70 countries in CEE, MENA, SSA, LatAm, Asia and the euro area on a daily basis. Our clients include the vast majority of banking EM desks, international financial institutions and central banks, credit rating agencies and some of the world’s major asset managers.

We are looking for Macroeconomic and Political Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Follow the economic and political situation in a given country/ies on a daily basis;
• Write short economic and political notes and long analytical pieces on key contemporary topics in English;
• Collect macroeconomic data and maintain a database of economic indicators:
• Follow all important statistical publications and analyse the data;
• Answer clients’ questions on economic and political issues;
• Our headquarters are located in Sofia, Bulgaria but we work completely remotely;
• Working time is also flexible, we offer both full-time and part-time options, suitable for students.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of macroeconomics, monetary policy, fiscal policy and politics. Specific knowledge about emerging markets is considered a plus;
• Good analytical skills, attention to details and accuracy;
• Good command of English. Knowledge of other languages is considered a priority;
• Basic knowledge of working with MS Excel and MS Word;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet daily deadlines;
